Some people say “Action speaks louder than words” and the Honorable Barangay Captain Wilfredo R. Dela Cruz is being characterized as the “Action Man”.  Barangay Tambo was the first barangay to avail of our Free Empowerment and Fire Safety Seminar which was attended by more than 50 participants from Barangay Staff and Peace and Order Personnel.  The resource speakers of the said seminar was headed by Mr. Louie C. Anopol Jr., Mr. Danny Mendiola and Mr. Alfredo Patacsil for the technical aspects wherein the group has shown and advertised the superiority of our product, none other than the Bronco fire extinguisher. 

His accomplishments as the newly installed Barangay Captain is astonishing that in less than a year under his leadership the following have been his recent accomplishments as the Barangay Captain:

• Rehabilitation of Barangay Hall
• Repair of fire truck and ambulance and other mobility of Barangay Hall
• Spearheaded the use of environmental and biodegrable materials as decoration during the fiesta
• Peace and Order of the numbers of complaints and several cases involving our constituents
• Neutralization of illegal Video Karera and Fruit Game machines operating in Barangay Tambo
• Provide Sources and Livelihood:  physical therapy, meat processing, candle, soap and powder making and some other projects
• Organized the 24/7 Fire Safety of Barangay Tambo
• Cleaning and declogging of drainage system of Barangay Tambo
• Day Care accommodating 239 pupils
• 24/7 Lying-In Clinic for Health Care Service 

With these, we would like to congratulate the Barangay Chairman for a job well done.  His endeavors and sacrifices have been carried out though the cooperation of his constituents and the full support of the Honorable Mayor Florencio M. Bernabe Jr., the City Mayor of Parañaque.  The Barangay Captain has always said that he is more of a servant to the people and “Action speaks louder than words”.
