Barangay Captain Wilfredo Dela Cruz is a shining example of a true leader; a role model to all barangay heads to follow. His leadership characterizes synergizing his whole team, the Achiever’s Team, to design, organize and accomplish worthwhile projects for their constituents which includes livelihood, health, safety and security and culture appreciation. His strength as a leader lies in his ability to steer his team to top performance.

One project worth commending is the Fire Prevention Project last March this year. Fire Prevention is most crucial to the lives and properties of the residents of the Barangay. The Achiever’s Team strategized to provide and equip each of the 30 Purok Leaders of Barangay Tambo with a fire extinguisher by training them on the responsibilities, actions and skills of a Fire Brigade. And choosing the perfect equipment, the most dependable fire extinguisher, Excelta’s Donewell, is a display of his wisdom and concern in providing his constituents products and services that are of great value.  Excelta’s Donewell has 5 years mechanical warranty and 10 years chemical efficacy and does not need to be refilled yearly. Therefore, such will provide longer and effective service to the puroks in which the units were distributed and deployed.

Here are just some of the recent accomplishments of Barangay Tambo in Paranaque City during the first quarter of 2009:

a) Installation of steel granting and manhole cover to Puyat  and Camp Claudio
b) De-clogging of drainage system
