Yokohama Tire Philippines Inc. based in Clark Field, Pampanga sent their representatives to visit the manufacturing plant of Excelta in Paranaque City after checking out our website. The intent was to check the office and factory facilities in order to determine if Excelta is a legitimate and existing company or not. Consequently, they requested to pick up at random two five-pound units, namely Bronco Dry Chemical (MAP) and Bronco HCFC for chemical purity testing. Such samples were brought to the Philippine Institute of Pure and Applied Chemistry or PIPAC, an independent scientific institute in Quezon City, by Yokohama themselves last June 9, 2009 for component analysis. The yielded results showed 90% for MAP and 100% for HCFC which only proved that Excelta does not use recycled chemicals or adulterated extinguishing agents in their fire extinguishers. (Note: The Philippine National Standard or PNS for chemical purity should be above 75% for MAP and 99.8% for HCFC).
